Not on par with Photoshop, but good for casual editing.
I have been using Photoshop for graphic design for years and was happy to see a possible rival. I’ve given Affinity Photo a chance as a replacement, but I constantly finding myself looking for basic tools or features and Googling it usually results in “that would make a great addition to Affinity Photo.” Also some of the key bindings are really really weird. Like who wants to press Shift + F5 to fill? I get that they don’t want to simply copy Photoshop… but like why not? Is there a legal conflict when specifying key bindings? Photoshops are intuitive, these ones are obscure and a strain on your hands.
I hope they keep developing their product, I think Adobe needs the competition (especially in performance optimization).
